Welcome to Tawaasal
May 23, 2026 · Abdulkareem H. Ali
We're delighted to open the doors.
Tawaasal is a new home for school communication and operations — one platform that brings admins, teachers, students, and guardians together, in English and Arabic, on any device. This is our first post, so we want to start with a simple hello, a quick tour of what Tawaasal does, and a few words about why we built it.
One platform for your whole school
Schools today juggle a long list of disconnected tools. Attendance lives in one system, grades in another, messaging in a third, and important announcements get lost in group chats. Parents miss updates. Teachers chase paperwork. Admins lose hours stitching it all together.
Tawaasal replaces that patchwork with a single, secure platform that every role in the school can rely on:
- School admins manage users, classes, and timetables, and see attendance, grades, and engagement across the whole school at a glance.
- Teachers take attendance in seconds, set and mark homework, message guardians, and track behaviour and merits without paperwork.
- Students see today's schedule, upcoming assignments, grades, and announcements in one place — and submit homework right from their phone.
- Guardians stay close to their child's school day with attendance updates, grades, messaging, and leave requests just a tap away.
Everything is on the same calendar. Everyone is, finally, on the same page.
Built for schools that work in more than one language
We started Tawaasal because we believe a school's tools should speak the school's languages — not the other way around.
Tawaasal ships today with full English and Arabic support, including native right-to-left layout across every screen. It isn't bolted on as an afterthought; it's how the product was built from day one. Each user picks the language they prefer and can switch any time. More languages are on the way.
Secure by design
Schools handle some of the most sensitive data anywhere — children's records, family contacts, safeguarding notes. We treat it that way.
Each school's data lives in its own isolated environment. Sign-in supports multi-factor authentication and biometrics (Face ID and Touch ID). Permissions are role-based and granular. Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest, with audit logs for security-sensitive events. We would rather over-invest here than ever ask a head of school to lose sleep over their data.
What's next
This blog will be where we share what's new — features as they ship, stories from the schools using Tawaasal, behind-the-scenes notes on how we build, and the occasional deep dive on a hard problem in education technology.
If you're a school leader curious about what Tawaasal could look like in your community, we'd love to show you. Request a demo any time, and we'll walk through it together.
To every teacher, student, parent, and admin reading this: thank you for stopping by. We can't wait to be part of your school year.
