Every school we welcome tells us a version of the same story: choosing the platform was the easy part — the real work is everything that follows. Importing students, building the timetable, setting up classes, bringing teachers on board, inviting guardians. We have never believed a school should be paying subscription fees while it is still unpacking boxes.

Our pricing page has carried that promise from the start: billing begins on your go-live date, agreed with us during onboarding. Today we are delighted to make it a first-class part of signup itself. It is called deferred billing, and it is live now.

Start free — no payment details at all

Checkout now opens with a simple choice: Pay now, or Start free — pay at go-live.

Choose the deferred path and you will not be asked for a card, a PayPal account, or bank details — there is no payment step at all. Your order summary leads with the only figure that matters right now, Due today: 0.00, and shows your plan's recurring price clearly labelled as beginning on your agreed go-live date. Submit, and what lands in your inbox is a welcome — not a payment demand.

How it works

  1. Choose your plan and add-ons. [In your own currency](/en/blog/pay-in-your-own-currency), at the same prices as everyone else — deferring costs nothing extra.
  2. Pick "Start free — pay at go-live". The payment step simply disappears from your checkout.
  3. Review and submit. Due today: 0.00. That is the whole bill.
  4. Set up at your own pace. Your school is provisioned and ready: import your students, build your timetable, train your teachers, welcome your guardians — while billing waits.
  5. Go live. During onboarding we agree your go-live date together. When it arrives, billing begins automatically — at exactly the price you saw at checkout.

Add a payment method when you are ready

At any point before go-live, you can set up your preferred way to pay from your customer portal — card, PayPal, or bank transfer, depending on what is available for your plan. Our team will also be in touch as your go-live date approaches, so nothing ever arrives as a surprise.

Prefer to pay now?

Nothing changes for you. Choose Pay now and the familiar card, PayPal, and bank-transfer options work exactly as before. And if you change your mind halfway through checkout, you can switch to the deferred path with a single click.

The small print (there isn't much)

  • Nothing is charged before go-live. No deposits, no holds, no hidden setup fees.
  • The price you saw is the price you pay. Your plan, add-ons, and currency are fixed at signup; go-live changes when you pay, never how much.
  • Plans changed? If life gets in the way before go-live, just talk to us — you haven't paid anything.
